SIDETRACK WINERY EXPERIENCE
The Experience
You like to drink wine but how much do you know about the winemaking process?
Get 'sidetracked', go beyond the usual cellar door experience and explore the fabulous world of wine behind the scenes
- Join one of our winemaking team for an informal tour of our 350t state-of-the-art winery. See and taste the wines in various stages of production and smell the heady combination of yeast and oak.
- Then into the cellar door for an intimate structured tasting of 6 selected wines including our premium Swift Family Heritage. Be guided through the complexities of each variety, cellaring, food matching, glassware and more.
- With the formalities over, sit back and enjoy a seasonal antipasto lunch served overlooking the vineyard.
- Receive 2 x 10% cellar door discount vouchers per person.
Please allow 2 hours minimum.
Group transport can be arranged separately.
The Wines
Wine tasting will be conducted around the table. It is a structured format however questions are very welcome, with an experience member of staff leading the tasting.
Wines used in the tasting are;
- Sauvignon Blanc
Chardonnay
Pinot Gris - Merlot
Shiraz Viognier
Swift Family Heritage reserve
Lunch
All produce is sourced locally where possible.
The Cost
The 'Sidetrack' experience is for groups of 10 or more and costs $25.00 per person. Bookings essential.
A 10% deposit is required at time of booking.
