The Swift Family Heritage wines are made from small parcels of hand selected grapes sourced exclusively from our estate vineyards. This fruit is then vinified with meticulous care and attention. The resulting wines are of the highest quality and show the finest expression of the grape varietals. Each vintage produces limited quantities with exceptional flavour and balance that we believe will continue to improve with extra maturation.
Winemaking Notes
Blending is an art with challenges on many fronts. Avoiding the dominance of one variety over the other is the focus; while other balances are achieved through the use of different oak, acidity adjustment and tannin restructuring. The wine is an example of a successful combination of the above.
