2007 Vintage Conditions
The vineyard from which we source our Riesling is at the towering heights of 960m. It has its own micro climate, and even though we were in the grip of one of the worst dry spells on record, the effects on this vineyard were not nearly as severe. Being protected from the hot westerly winds and being a few degrees cooler each day this vintage was more in line with the average.
Winemaking Notes
Fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel to encourage the development of intense aromatic characters and to ensure their transition into bottle. This created a clean, elegant and refreshing wine.
